MARJORIE ORBIN
Former Las Vegas stripper Marjorie Orbin is on trial for murdering her husband and chopping him up with a jigsaw. Arizona prosecutors have screwed up the case so badly that she might actually walk. Not to mention, authorities let Orbin make a videotape that was shown on CBS describing HER ordeal.

comScore has released their search market share rankings for October 2009 and the news is good for both Google and Bing – they both gained 0.5% in search share. This came at the expense of Yahoo! who lost 0.8% and AOL, which lost 0.1%. Ask.com stayed steady.
After experiencing a slowdown in the rate of growth in September, Bing is back on the momentum it was gaining since launch last June. Bing has now gained 1.9% share since launch.
At first, Bing’s growth came at Google’s expense. As of this new report, Google has recouped all losses, while Bing keeps growing.
This is mostly problematic for Microsoft’s partnership with Yahoo! They’re stealing share from a competitor set to become a partner.
Still, Microsoft has to be thrilled with the headway they’re making with Bing.
But first, Army beat Vanderbilt in overtime 16 to 13.

UGA’s Bulldogs swirled and spun with the Tennessee Volunteers this afternoon at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN.\xA0 Broadcast on Peachtree TV and with commentary by Andre Ware and Dave Neal, the first quarter was scoreless and predominantly uneventful until the clock went to two minutes and thirty-nine seconds when Bulldogs quarterback Joe Cox’s throw was interrupted by Volunteers defensive end Chris Walker.\xA0 That turnover eventually lead to a touchdown in the top of the second quarter with a connection between Volunteers quarterback Jonathan Crompton and wide receiver Gerald Jones.\xA0 The Bulldogs barked back with a 100 yard kickoff return TD by cornerback Brandon Boykin, who had broke through the middle of field in front of the end zone, made a dash for the sidelines and took the ball all the way to the other side of the field.\xA0 UGA 7 and UT 7.
Say what karaoke happened next?\xA0 The Volunteers wide receiver Denarius Moore launched his body towards the bottom left corner of the end zone (from the POV of the field) and extended his right arm forward to break the plane.\xA0 There was a booth review, which then confirmed the TD call.\xA0 UT 14 and UGA 7.\xA0 The Dawgs responded with a fifty-three yard Blair Walsh field goal (filmed from an extreme high angle, long shot behind the uprights such that I had to look at the officials’ hand signals to know if the good was good or not).\xA0 The Volunteers amped up their offense Chi with a third TD (catch made by wide receiver Marsalis Teague).\xA0 UT 21 and UGA 10.\xA0 With half a minute left in the first half, the Dawgs got a safety when Zach Renner blocked Chad Cunningham’s punt.\xA0 UT 21 and UGA 12.
The third quarter started with Volunteers defensive back Dennis Rogan catching a pass that Joe Cox meant to the sidelines.\xA0 Handbags.\xA0 More than 100,000 spectators saw that turnover.\xA0 The Volunteers jumped ahead numerically with a field goal at the end of that drive.\xA0 Kicker Daniel Lincoln sent up a thirty yarder. \xA0 UT 24 and UGA 12.\xA0 A few minutes later, the Dawgs’ defense caught the Volunteers unawares as strong saftey Bacarri Rambo intercepted Jonathan Crompton’s pass and scampered twenty-eight yards into the end zone (click here to watch me watching the instant replay of the interception).\xA0 UT 24 and UGA 19 (truly awesome).\xA0 Those Volunteers would not be intimidated or disheartened.\xA0 Running back Montario Hardesty ran thirty-nine yards into that end zone.\xA0 Fewer than ninety seconds remained in the third quarter and Gerald Jones made another TD.\xA0 UT 38 and UGA 19.\xA0 The entire Volunteers team then gathered on the field and simulated a bit of a moshpit–without the body surfing.
And Peachtree TV’s signal went out.\xA0 “We are experiencing technical difficulties, please stand by.”\xA0 That lasted just a few minutes.\xA0 Hmmm.
A dark shadow hovered over the Dawgs in the fourth quarter.\xA0 Volunteers defensive back Eric Berry got his hands on a ball that wide receiver Michael Moore caught then fumbled.\xA0 Three plays later, running back Bryce Brown trotted into the end zone.\xA0\xA0 Logan Gray went in as QB in the middle of the quarter.\xA0 Nick Stephens went in for Jonathan Crompton as well.\xA0 Andre Ware remarked that most of the Dawgs’ fans had left or were in the processing of vacating the premises by the final minute of the game.\xA0 UT 45 and UGA 19.\xA0 Final score.

Observations & Miscellania:
1.\xA0 I started watched the game three minutes in to the first quarter.\xA0 Once again, due to the weather, the TV signal was patchy.\xA0 Splotchy.
2.\xA0 The Volunteers’ end zone makes me think of Home Depot.
3.\xA0 The commercial break before the two minute warning in the first quarter was prologued by a shot of the Volunteers Smokey IX, followed by a low angle, medium close-up of UGA’s Loran’s Best.
4.\xA0 Denarius Moore didn’t just reach over that pylon in the top of the first quarter.\xA0 As one of the commentators remarked during the subsequent slow-motion instant replay (from various angles), Moore leaped into the air after dodging a Bulldogs defender at around the five yard line and had amazing hangtime.\xA0 It resembled a basketball play, especially in slow-motion.\xA0 That play, as it was televised, was filmed from a high angle, medium long shot.\xA0 Moore’s entire body was on screen.\xA0 The sidelines was on the left side of his body.
5.\xA0 An instant replay of Gerald Jones’s first TD of the game revealed that he had the ball in both of his hands as he hurled his body, hands first, towards the bottom left pylon.

I noticed on Friday that Rivals had St. John’s with a new recruiting verbal for the class of 2009 – a point guard from North Carolina named Malik Stith. He’s from the New York area – from Hempstead (did he play football, also? This may be him). And he is happy to come home, saying ?It?s a good fit for me. The chance to play at Madison Square Garden and doing it in front of my friends and family for four years just felt right to me.?
Stith plays with the United Celtics on the AAU circuit, and played for East Mecklenburg HS in
Charlotte, North Carolina, where he won a state championship this year. And because you needed to know this, East Mecklenburg is also the high school of Apprentice contestant Kwame Jackson. Stith is going to prep at Bridgeton Academy (where St. John’s recruits Qu’rraan Calhoun, Justin Burrell, Paris Horne did their post-grad year) and will be a 2009 recruit.
At East Mecklenburg he won a city championship, and was named the Charlotte Observer’s Boys Basketball Player of the Year, after not appearing on their pre-season list. Stith had a 3-star ranking on Scout.com, previous to his decision to prep.
Here is a post from NBE Basketball, focusing on Stith’s good ball handling abilities.
A side note: I saw that a few folks on the message boards were worried about being overloaded at the point guard position. That’s a complete, absolute load of crap. The signing of Malik Stith is not an indication that the staff thinks Malik Boothe is not up to the job. Or that Tyshwan Edmondson was a desperation recruit that can’t hang on this level. Or that Paris Horne can’t handle backup ballhandling duties.
I don’t know what people think 13 scholarships are for, but depth is important. And a team that is weak at the point guard position is ripe for beatings when they can’t bring the ball up, when one ball handler is being owned by another defender, or when a ball handler gets injured. On a good team, there have to be a number of guys that can step up and bring the ball up under pressure, and guys who are looking to make the smart pass.
Boothe was limited in a few games by a bad back, and at his size, his reckless style will get him hurt – dinged and bruised at least. As it is, the team needs the returning players (Kennedy and Horne) to be better ball handlers. Coach Roberts obviously prizes multi-positionality and versatility; and I am sure he watched those 10 turnover first halves in what seemed like every conference game.
And Tyshwan Edmondson, 6′4″ and without big assist numbers to his credit in high school, is he a full-time point guard on the Big East level? He might be a combination guard. He might be a slasher. We don’t know. And perhaps Tyshwan waits on the bench for his turn, like players do at every school.
Players are still signing with schools, so there may be another 2008 recruit; but unless that recruit is a JUCO big man rebounder, the staff should shelve those scholarships for Omari Lawrence, Kevin Parrom, David Bruce, Dan Jennings, Tevin Baskin, James Padgett, or more under the radar recruits such as Kyrie Sutton or a surprise foreign player. Unless the Red Storm has a serious in with a high-grade recruit, they are not coming until the team starts winning; and even then, the winning will happen after the early signing period when the top recruits choose their schools.
And the team will want to save some scholarships for the 2010 class (with the 2005-06 recruit class transferred or reclassified, no players will be leaving in 2010) for players like Taran Buie, Tobias Harris, Doron Lamb, and Ashton Pankey.
Leaked?
Leaked my foot.\xA0 Jamie Foxx knows how to upload a photo to the internet when he wants to, I’m sure.
Now he’s “leaked” some photos of his “Foxx” piece.\xA0 Full and frontal.
He’s not bashful either….Oh, no!\xA0 He doesn’t seem the bit embarrased about dinging his dong in public.
We had heard all about his “qualities” from Karrine Steffans, who admitted to sleeping with the Academy Award winning Foxx.
I just wanna know why his bathroom is messy and what is the baby oil for?
Uhmmm-hummmm!?
Jamie, you know you are wrong for that!\xA0 But, I will say…”Looks like those workouts have worked out.”
I have to show the clean version. For all you dirty minds, click the link below to see the uncensored Foxx!

For the football game against Mississippi State on October 17, MTSU has changed from the normal policy of “Get in free with your student ID” to “Hey, this might be a big game… so get your tickets now.”
From an e-mail sent to students:
Due to the anticipated demand for tickets to the Middle Tennessee football game against Mississippi State University on Oct. 17th, a student ticket distribution plan has been developed to ensure that tickets are distributed to students in an equitable manner, favoring those who really want to attend the game and have an opportunity to pick up a ticket prior to an anticipated sold out event.
Students must present their student ID to the MTSU Ticket Office (Gate 1A) to receive a free ticket. Each student can purchase up to four additional guest tickets for $8 each.
The miniseries is missing one character on the home page of Yahoo! TV:
